David Kerr

Session Drummer

Armed with a bachelor’s of music with honours
distinction in composition and jazz studies (specializing in percussion), David Kerr attacks music on all fronts from theory and thoughtfulness to groove and evocation. Stylistically pinning the emotional duress of Hot Mulligan against the harmonic and stylistic exploration of Sungazer and Periphery, Kerr has sold out venues such as The Rockhouse and brought his music as far as Hawaii and Ireland. His debut EP “Headwinds” is scheduled for release in April 2023.
